About Robin

Robin M Birrell is the artist and grower behind Nibor Nella Fine Art and Flowers.

In addition to growing cut flowers in season, Robin is a self-taught, upcycled paper mixed media artist who engages primarily with themes of womanhood as well as the natural world. Her work explores the real lives and collective experiences of women as daughters of God.

Robin’s paintings combine the saturated color and unexpected detail found in upcycled magazine paper, with a bit of acrylic, and India ink.

She lives and works in coastal Maine. Robin and her husband are the parents of three sons, have two lovely daughters-in-law, and six perfect grandchildren.
